This week has been really stressful.  I don’t know how I got so lazy but even just having two midterms, two interviews, and a group project really has me stressed out because I haven’t been doing too much work these past few weeks.  Hella burnt out.

Haven’t even blogged in like over a month haha miss how therapeutic, if any, this was.  Gonna try and fill in all the blanks along the way.. Prolly gonna forget hella info on my regular day to day shit but fuck it.

We just started our group project film today and Ricky is one funny ass dude.  I can’t be serious for a minute and act as a zombie or as a bystander cause it’s just so funny and embarassing that I wanna laugh at myself.  Good thing I called one of the more serious less entertaining roles of being a doctor examining a zombie.  We’re gonna be the first ones to present so we’ll see how it goessss.

After filming I crammed in hella programming to finish up and fix my errors after going to Mammen’s office hours for the program I started yesterday that we had over a week to do and it was due today.  Finished it and hopefully gonna try and get a “head start” (I’m already behind lol) on the next program that’s due on Monday but tryna get this week outta the way first.

Had my 8am class.  Ate, prepped for my interview.  Went to calc.  Back to the dorm to change into my shirt and pants because they said to dress very casual and they were dressed really casual lol.

Had four back to back interviews with one person every 45 minutes.  I signed a contract saying not to disclose any information so ioreallyno what I can say but I pretty much stood for 3 hours writing code on the white board.  I hella want to get this internship it legitly seems like a great experience and something fun to do for the summer and it even extends to during school too.  Hoping for the best yanno!

Pray for me; #THESECRET

I got hella dark but everyone says they don’t notice cause I’ve always been dark.  I guess white skinned people would think my usual light skin as dark.

The weathers just been too great I’m always tryna work outside and I guess staying out in the sun for hella long over the weekend is prolly why I got hella dark.  Hahah just realized how dumb that was to say.

Got a call from the hiring manager at Old Navy on Market St. in SF.  She was tryna interview me again but I reminded her that she planned on calling me back to see if she’d be working on the 19th or not for my in person interview there.  Changed my interview date to Memorial Day weekend because I got a lot going on this weekend that I can’t go home anymore and she seemed kind of confused by the whole conversation so hopefully I remember to follow up sometime next week to confirm my interview time.

Had my CPE 102 midterm today.  I feel pretty good about it; hoping for an A or A- because I know I made a few lil mistakes cause I didn’t have experience using instanceof.

Afterwards, got a call from the manager at Zoodles.  He was pretty cool and told me a lot about the company, and how they are just starting their internship program and how I’d be their first intern if I intern there.  Seems like a pretty sick place to work at; it’s in Mountain View but their office is right next to the Caltrain station so I’m really looking forward to the next interview I have with them.  Sucks cause my phone signal kept dropping and he had to keep repeating himself because the line would cut off or my call would fail.  He asked if I wanted to try Skype and I was down but I didn’t know how to work it hahaha.

Really happy I’ve been putting myself out there job and internship wise.  I hope I land something yanno.

My mom wasn’t sure if she could make the trip down because of financial woes but I’m so happy my mom and family came down this weekend.  It was a really great reminder how much I love my family.

Happy Mother’s Day to the best Mom in the world!  I know everyone says that, but my mama is really the best mom I could ever ask for.  She wasn’t necessarily strict strict but I remember getting hit and yelled at when I was a kid.  But just the way she raised me, like I don’t even know how to explain how I grew up to be who I am but I know she played a big role in that.  She was very trusting and let me be responsible for myself and so I got to make my own decisions and she was just always there and supportive and a role model in why I try to be so independent all the time.  My thoughts are so scattered right now but if you’re reading this then I just wanted to say I love you mom.
